The SensAbility Scheme provides financial assistance of up to €6,000 to finance the installation and equipping of sensory rooms for individuals with sensory challenges like autism and/or sensory overload.
Through this initiative, the Housing Authority provides vital support to families with members who have a disability and experience sensory difficulties. The financial assistance is based on a report prepared by an Occupational Therapist engaged by the applicant, providing tailored recommendations that best meet the individual’s needs.
